Mumbai, April 27 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has donated two crore rupees to Mumbai Police Foundation. He has made his contribution in this direction keeping in mind Mumbai Police headcountable Chandrakant Pendurkar and Sandeep Surve, who have been tirelessly trying to maintain law and order in the ongoing lockdown due to the Kovid-19 epidemic.


Thanking Akshay for his noble cause, Mumbai Police tweeted on Monday, “Thank you Akshay on behalf of Mumbai Police for contributing Rs 2 crore to Mumbai Police Foundation. Your cooperation to provide security to the city Will play an important role in protecting the lives of committed women and male policemen. “
